It’s that time again friends. The time of the month where I go over the top 10 things that I used over the last month that helped my life in some way. This list includes things related to life in general. It could be clothes that I bought and wore, or supplements I have tried to skin care or hair care. Literally anything I have used at all. Last month it even had a couple of items for the pugs. They are in no particular order, though, if you want them to be ordered, let me know in the comments below.
- Medicube Pink Glass Glow Skin Trio – ok glass skin has been blowing up my feeds lately, I’m not sure if it has been yours. But I decided I would try some of these products out to see if they were worth the hype. This specific product boasts that it targets dark spots, boosts collagen production, strengthens the skins barrier, and reduces inflammation. I don’t know if it was a miracle for my skin, but I can say that I felt that my face was very hydrated and looked very glowy. And the mask was super cool in that you can leave it on for hours and it gets more transparent when the ingredients are absorbed into your skin. And the jelly cream feels wonderful on your skin. It is a bit sticky until absorbed, so I use it at night before bed and wake up with glowing skin in the morning!
- This 2 Pack Battery Operated Lamp – these beautiful lamps were advertised to me for “Dorm Life” but they look so much more mature to me than you would see in the average dorm room. These are battery operated, so great for when you have those late fall storms that knock your power out for several hours. And you don’t have to find any matches or a lighter to light a candle. But they have that soft candle like glow that makes you want to turn one of these on in every room. It just has such a cozy vibe. I love them!
- This Cast Iron Bread Baking Pot – If you have ever used a regular Dutch Oven to bake bread, you know that you have to be careful not to burn yourself when you take the bread out because of the high sides of the Dutch oven (ask me how I know). So I decided to buy a Dutch oven that is specifically for baking bread in. This way, once you take the top off you can practically just lift the bread out when it is done. I mean, we all know you can’t and that you still have to be careful not to burn yourself (again, ask how I know, lol), but these make baking your next loaf of sourdough that much more convenient. More on my bread baking journey later, so stay tuned!
- This Vegan Leather Casual Tote Bag – this army green bag had my name written all over it! It has several pockets on the inside and a pocket on the back. It is big enough to put your tablet in and all the rest of your purse needs. The only thing that would make this bag better is a middle divider to separate the sides to make it more organized. But for the price, it can’t be beat. It comes in some very pretty fall “leather” colors: khaki, tan, beige, red, black, dark green, army green, coffee. Just a note as well, the strap isn’t long enough to make this a cross body bag, just a shoulder bag.
- This V Neck Empire Waist Maxi Dress – ok, so this dress doesn’t go with my army green shoulder bag, but I got this dress for a specific reason and didn’t need a purse for that specific event. I wore this to an outdoor wedding of a friend and this dress was perfect. It is pretty light weight, so if it is cold, you will need a jacket. But for those late summer/early fall evening weddings, this worked out well. And i got it in two days, so if the one I bought didn’t fit, I had time to order another one and return this one. But I got the large and it fit, so returning wasn’t necessary. Very comfortable and very boho, this would look good with a jean jacket and boots too, as well as just a simple sandal.
- This Long Sleeve Open Front Cardigan – I love me a long sweater. And this one is great, it doesn’t wrinkle and has pockets! The only thing it doesn’t have is buttons. Or a belt. But that is ok, because it is super comfy and long. The perfect addition to the fall wardrobe. And the camel color is the best for pairing with other fall colors. It goes great with jeans or leggings (we all know I only wear leggings, lol) or a fall dress and boots.
- This Nordic Ware Harvest Mini Loaf Pan – Who doesn’t love baking bread when the air gets cooler? Not me. I love all kinds of bread. Banana, zucchini, I can’t get enough. And these little loaf pans are perfect for gifting those many loaves we end up making during baking season. It would be great for making mini iced cakes or brownies too. But I find myself with overripe bananas way to often to make anything other than banana bread. And this pan helps me give 5 loaves away while keeping one, and it is a mini loaf, so I won’t overeat too often.
- Speaking of baking bread, this Sourdough starter kit is perfect for the many trial and error loaves you have been meaning to try making. It comes with two bread proofing baskets, a dough whisk, a fermentation jar, bread lame and much more. It has everything you will need to make your own sourdough starter and everything to make that first loaf of many you will make once you get the hang. The only thing you don’t get in this kit is the actual starter, which you could get from a friend, local bakery, or even order it dehydrated online, or make yourself. And I promise I am going to lay out all my trials getting that first good loaf of bread. Trust me when I say it took over a year to get it right. Sigh
- And while you are in the kitchen trying to perfect your bread baking skills, don’t forget the fall kitchen towels, pot holders, and oven mitts, these are so cute with the turkey on the front and the pumpkins. I’m a sucker for a themed set. I have so many pug themed towels, I decided I needed a set for the Thanksgiving season that actually had pumpkins and turkeys on it and these fit the bill perfectly. The only other thing that is needed to complete the fall themed kitchen is…
- You guessed it, a beautiful fall themed apron. This one is beautiful! It is fitted, and flares out like a skirt at the bottom, so you will always look like you have everything together. Even if you burn everything in your way. I don’t think burning things is in your future if you own this apron. It is just to cute to mess up any of your fall cooking. Just kidding, I ruin at least 3 out of every 5 things I bake. My husband already knows it is Russian roulette in our kitchen, hahaha. I wish that wearing a cute apron made things magically bake to perfection, but that is just luck and time my friends. Wish it wasn’t but it totally is
Do you enjoy these lists I’ve been making at the end of the month? Let me know in the comments if you do. I can also make themed lists, if that is something y’all are into. I buy almost everything on Amazon, so it is easy to pull together lists for the month, or even for the quarter if that is better. I love to hear what everyone is thinking. So let me know in the comments below if these help you in any way. Happy Fall Y’all!
