Ok, friends. I’m trying something new this month. I’m going to be sharing the products that I tried the previous month that have helped me or made my life better in some way. Maybe this will be a new series of posts that I share monthly, maybe it won’t. But I am going to list the top 10 products that helped me in August.
- This Digital Kitchen Scale – this scale is a larger size than the previous one I had. It can weigh anything you need it to using ounces, pounds and ounces, fluid ounces, grams, and milliliters. It also has a Tare function so you can subtract (or zero out) the weight of the container you are using <- so helpful, especially when baking.
- This Ninja Air Fryer – this specific air fryer is much easier to pull out and put up than the 10 in one air fryer that I still have but rarely use. Ninja makes wonderful kitchen gadgets, and you may see more in this list. But this air fryer is great, it goes up to 400F, can air fry, roast, reheat, and dehydrate. And it has the cute little basket on the front instead of having to take the top off and put it back on. So much more convienent.
- This Sage and Citrus Yankee Candle – perfect for the lingering days of summer/sneaky first days of fall. This candle reminds you leaves are still on the trees, but not for much longer. And that yes, when this candle is done, it is time to order the Autumn Wreath scent.
- This BruMate Tumbler in Rose Taupe. Perfect 30 oz tumbler to take everywhere this month in a beautiful early fall mauve color. This one has a metal straw to keep your liquids cold, but a silicone tip so your lips don’t hate you for having a cold drink. It fits in a standard cup holder, and can keep your drink cold for 24 hours!
- This (Second) BruMate Tumbler in Dark Aura. Don’t judge me. I may have a water problem. But this one can’t be beat, it is a tiny bit cheaper AND is 40 oz instead of 30. And I have an agreement with my husband that I will not hoard water jugs, so for every one I buy, I give one to Goodwill. Plus, Plus! It may just be me but I always have a plain water and a flavored water jug, so of course I needed this one too. hehe
- This seasoning pack of Birria Bombs. Who doesn’t love a good Birria taco? You really don’t need anything other than water for these, but you can add some meat. I just like to dip my tacos in the juice, so I break these up and just add some water. But just two bombs can become a lot if you want it too and add some beef to stew in! One bomb takes 4 cups of water, so if you don’t need that much, do like I do and break it into pieces!
- These Mountain Dew Kickstarts. These are on a subscribe and save as a monthly purchase in our household. They are not truly an energy drink, but they are only 80 calories for a whole can and they have B vitamins as well as 92mg of caffeine. Which gives my husband much less of an energy drink anxiety energy boost than the alternative. So the best of both worlds. And the black cherry is tasty. But they come in a couple other flavors, too.
- The Chuckit Ball. My little guys can actually get these in their mouths but can’t chomp down on them too much so I can get them back after they bring it to me. They are the kings of “no take, only throw”. But they do love these durable rubber balls to chase after!
- These Native Pet Calming Chews. The boys really love these. Especially on days when it is raining, or it has been too hot to run them. I add one to their dinner, and they are calm happy boys.
- And lastly, this Running Girl High Impact Sports Bra. As you might have read in another post, I love these sports bras, and now have about 12 of them in my bra drawer. They last well, stay put, you can wash them and dry them. And they have all held up to daily wear. Plus, they have so many colors and patterns, you could have a different color for every day of the month!
Final thoughts:
These are the top 10 things that had an impact on my life for the last month. I tried to show all aspects of life at my home and not just fitness related. If you would rather see only fitness related lists, or food, or whatever, leave me a comment below. Have you tried any of these things? Let me know about those in the comments as well!
