I used the Raycon Everyday Open Earbuds every day during my workouts. The first thing I noticed about them is how snug they were. They are adjustable because the have a rotating hook. You just put the earbud in your ear where it is comfortable and then you can rotate the earbud’s hook to find the most comfortable fit. I thought this was a good idea when I put them on and was able to adjust them.
These earbuds had amazing sound quality and balanced audio through the immersive speakers. When using these on a call, the call technology blocks noise on your end so that the person you are talking to isn’t distracted by outside noise.
With 8 hours of play time on the first charge and 40 hours of battery life from the charging case, I could get away with only charging these headphones once a week. Which is wonderful because I forget a lot (forgive me, I’m old). I have never run out of charge between plugging it in at the end of the week. Big huge win.
The Raycon earbuds were easy to pair and I was able to begin using them immediately. They have touch controls for turning them on and off. You can also adjust the volume: right ear lowered the volume and left ear raised the volume. Another pretty big win.
The only drawback I can say about these is the swivel design. It just didn’t work for me. I couldn’t find a comfortable position and when I did, after wearing them for a while the hook that went over my ear would start to hurt, but I couldn’t raise it any higher or it would fall off. So a smidge of un-comfiness but no big deal. Then about 3 months in the right earphone broke at the hinge. I’m sure it was user error. But it looked like there was some kind of corrosion happening, like rust or something when I looked at the broken pieces. I probably tugged too hard, and my sweat didn’t get along with the metal inside the swivel I guess.
I give these a 4 star rating because of the broken hinge and the slight discomfort. If you read the reviews on Amazon though, this didn’t seem to happen to anyone else. So that is a good sign. I think I’m just the bull in the China shop, breaking things left and right. Lol
