I was advertised the Olay Super Serum on Amazon over the summer after having bought a Korean skincare system. Olay is a very visible brand and they have been around for a while. So I thought I would take a look at this new product. There were several products in this line, and initially I was only going to start with the serum. But once I got the serum and used it a couple of times, I ordered the rest of the line.
These are the products I ordered.
There is not a face wash for this line. So I won’t go over what I used to wash my face with. The body wash is good but not what I will be reviewing in detail here. And the other exception is a night cream. There is not a night cream in this line so I won’t talk about that either.
I wash my face once a day. It is the only skincare habit I keep up with religiously. So, if I washed my face before 1:00 in the afternoon, I used the regular Super Serum and the Super Cream with sunscreen. If I washed my face after 1:00 in the afternoon, I used the night time Super Serum and my night cream. I also use a glycolic acid or retinol wipe after washing but before the serums.
The order of products used is as follows:
- face wash
- glycolic acid or retinol
- super eye serum
- super serum (am or pm)
- either the super cream with sunscreen or night cream
There were days that I washed my face twice and or used a mask. On those days I still followed the order listed above.
These are the 5 ingredients that are in the Super Serum line that improve skin and slow signs of aging.
I noticed changes in my skin right away after using these products. There is an iridescent shimmer in the serums that leaves your skin glowing. The texture of my skin was smoother. My face appeared brighter and more hydrated as well. Over the month my skin felt more firm and the brightness intensified.
I will not stop using this system of facial products. I just wish there was a face wash and a night cream. I’m sure there will be before too long. When I was looking up all the Olay Super Serum products, I noticed they have a body lotion and a body cream in addition to the the products already listed.
I really do love these products for my face. The iridescence is amazing, and it makes your skin look dewy and hydrated. My skin felt great too, although I try not to touch it too much. I definitely wanted to touch it all the time. It is a simple regimen to use. Wash, eye cream, serum, moisturizer. Couldn’t be easier to use or remember.
After using this system for a month I have to give it 5 stars.
Knowing there are so many products out there that cost way more, I can’t recommend these products more. And if you add them to a subscribe and save order you can save money. These products are not nearly as other products that claim the same things. And this line actually delivers on what it promises. I rarely wear makeup anymore and can honestly say that it is because my skin looks so good now.
Give these products a try and you won’t be disappointed I promise.
